The Tookie Angus Memorial Scholarship is the Kainantu Endowment’s flagship postgraduate scholarship, established in honour of Mr. R. Stuart “Tookie” Angus, founding Chairman of K92 Mining Inc.
Created to strengthen advanced capability within Papua New Guinea, this scholarship supports Master’s degree studies in mining and business-related disciplines that contribute directly to sector development and long-term national progress.
This is a competitive, merit-based scholarship designed for individuals who demonstrate academic excellence and professional commitment.

The Tookie Angus Memorial Scholarship is open to Papua New Guinea residents who meet one of the following pathways:
Applicants must hold a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate readiness for further study.

The scholarship supports Master’s degree study for up to two years and includes:
